How to Use this Map

Zoom into the Map by clicking the left mouse button. The enlarged Map will be centred on that point. Click the right mouse button to Zoom out again. You can also use the mouse wheel to move in and out, and can pan the Map by dragging the mouse.

Using the ‘Field Names’ button below will display a list of Field Names shown on the Map. Selecting one from the list will centre the Map (in maximum zoom) on that Field.

The Map (or Plan) was included with my (Rosemary's) personal copy of the Sale Catalogue for the Stoke Hall Estate, published by Holmes, Son & Archer, Chartered Surveyors, Sheffield, 1937. It was drawn to a scale of 312 feet to one inch, and is approximately 18 inches by 30 inches in size. The list of Field Names is from Title Deeds which came with the property my parents bought at a later sale.
