YARKHILL, a parish in the hundred of RADLOW, county of HEREFORD, 7 miles (E. by N.) from Hereford, containing 435 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £3. 19. 3., and in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Hereford. The church is dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
