Froghall Railway Station, Kingsley

“Froghall [is] a hamlet in the parishes of Ipstones and Kingsley, hundred of North Totmonslow, county Stafford, 3 miles N.E. of Cheadle, its post town. It is a station on the Churnet Valley branch of the North Staffordshire railway... There are extensive wharf, limestone quarries, and colour works, affording employment to the people”.
