The Cathedral, Lichfield (The Nave)

Recent Photograph of The Cathedral (The Nave) (Lichfield)

The 13th century nave - note how the inside has a slight ‘dog-leg’, so we are able to appreciate the sweep of the vaulting through the nave and into the sanctuary beyond. It is apparently unknown whether this was deliberate on the part of those medieval masons!
