St James's Church, Sutton by Macclesfield (South View)

Sutton near Macclesfield was formerly known as High Sutton, at which time it was a chapelry in the parish of Prestbury. It is one of 3 “Suttons” in Cheshire, and even more of that name in England as a whole, thus giving rise to the numerous ways of qualifying it.
