Danebridge Methodist Church, Danebridge

Recent Photograph of Danebridge Methodist Church (Danebridge)

Danebridge and Wincle appear to have had a long association, lying just a short distance from one another. As its name suggests, Danebridge lies on the River Dane, a tributary of the River Weaver, which it joins at Nantwich. My image of them is of “twin towns”, separated by the River Dane, which marks the border between Cheshire and Staffordshire, but to describe them as towns would be way off the mark! The area, on a StreetView drive-through appears to be very rural; and strictly speaking, this Methodist Church should be in Staffordshire as it lies on the Staffordshire side of the bridge across the river.
