Methodist Church, Parwich

Recent Photograph of Methodist Church (Parwich)

A Wesleyan Methodist Church, with a date stone of building of 1847, recut to 1849, though Kelly's Directory of 1895 says it was erected 1843, and will hold 200 persons (!). The porch is of a later date, and there are (or were?) external stairs to a gallery at the north west end.

Kelly's Directory doesn't mention any other chapels in the village - must be one of the few which didn't have at least 2!
