Methodist Church, Rowsley

The Methodist Church can be readily seen is on east (right) side of the main road (B6012) coming from Chatsworth Park towards Rowsley.

‘Primitive Methodist Church’ is etched in stone in the arch above the doorway to the left, and there is a datestone of 1910 over the doorway nearest us. Curiously however, there is no mention of the church in Kelly's Directory of 1932.
