Holy Trinity Church, Tansley (Organ Gallery)

Recent Photograph of Holy Trinity Church (Organ Gallery) (Tansley)

The Organ Gallery, at the west end of the Church is above the front door.

Note also the Royal Coat of Arms, attached to the front of the gallery. Unsually, perhaps it is made in cast iron.

The dark rectangle on the left side of the gallery records the gift of Mrs. Edward RADFORD, wife of Edward RADFORD, Esquire, of Tansley Wood, the Founder of the Church, of a piece of land “for the maintenance, support, or benefit of the National School established in this Parish”. The inscription is recorded in full, together with those on other boards in the Church, on a separate web page.
