APPERLEY, a hamlet, joint with Whitefield, in that part of the parish of DEERHURST which is in the lower division of the hundred of WESTMINSTER, county of GLOUCESTER, 4 miles (S.W. by S.) from Tewkesbury, containing, with Whitefield, 401 inhabitants. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
