St James's Church, Coln St Denys (Hadwen Memorial)

The Inscription reads:

This Monument is erected at the expence of a few neighbouring Friends
in token of Esteem and Regard
To the Memory of
William Vann HADWEN, late Surgeon &c. at Northleach,
who died Octr. 26th. 1835, Aged 34.
And whose Earthly Remains lie buried at his own Request, under the Shade of this Yew Tree.
