The inscription says:

In / Memory of
Thomas CAMBRAY
Who Died January 17^th 1740 Aed 67
years
Whilst in This World I Did Remain
My Latter Days Were Grief and pain
Full Fifteen years and Something more
With pain I Was Afflicted Sore
But Now The Lord hath set me free
From Grief and pain and misery
