Old Photograph of The Vicarage, Tytherington (1900)

This delightful photograph is mounted on card, on which is written “Tytherington Vicarage, (1900)”. It has been contributed very kindly by Joan Preston, who found it amongst papers belonging to her late parents - although she has no idea how it came into their possession, as her father originated from Swindon in Wiltshire!

At the time she contributed the photograph, Joan said she would love to know if the Vicarage is still standing. This was before the advent of Google Satellite view, and access to Old Maps. By a comparison of the two, it would appear that it is, though substantially changed.
