WESTON-BIRT, a parish in the hundred of LONGTREE, county of GLOUCESTER, 3 miles (S.W, by S.) from Tetbury, containing, with Lasborough, 198 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Gloucester, rated in the king's books at £6. 2., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty. P. Holford, Esq. was patron in 1803. The church is dedicated to St. Catherine.
