St Peter's Church, DormingtonThe large white house to the right of the photograph is Dormington House. It dates from the late 18th century, and was formerly the vicarage. To the left (out of the photograph) is Dormington Court, dating from the early 17th century. Partly timber-framed and partly brick, it is now a hotel, whilst the farm buildings belonging to the original Court have been replaced with a new development of about 25 houses. Note also the carved angel Preece Memorial on the right of the churchyard. (Information provided by Rosemary Lockie)
