The Lady Hastings Well, Titley

Louisa Elizabeth Lady HASTINGS (née LOWE) was the wife of Sir Thomas HASTINGS, and according to the memorial in the church she inherited all the estates and property “in the counties of Hereford, Monmouth and Brecon” of Elizabeth Lady GREENLY, of Titley Court, “during the term of her natural life”.

Lady Hastings died 23rd February 1872 aged 89. Her Well is set back from the roadside, on the left of the entrance to St Peter's Church.
