St Peter's Church, Broughton

Recent Photograph of St Peter's Church (Broughton)

This church stands in complete isolation, any village long moved away - the key was obtainable from Wetwood to the south, where Broughton Village Hall is situated. The church is seemingly all of one build in an odd 17th century Gothic style and inside preserves tall box pews and many wall memorials. The oldest part is the stained glass in the east window with complete 15th century figures. This church is evidently still loved and kept in good repair and decoration.
