Untill my Saviour Christ shall be reveal'd /
A prisoner now to Earth I'm bound /
Untill that joyful trumpet sound /
Which wakes the dead and bids the ..... [sinner rise?] /
And wings my way to Mansions in the ..... [skies?] /
[* The mason originally carved "Stone", but then
carved "Hilderstone" on top. I (Marion) am not 100%
certain of the word "sinner" and there are only the
vaguest traces of the final words of lines 5 & 6.
I think "rise" and "skies" are the most likely]

Latest Additions New
The following MIs were kindly contributed by Marion Hall, 16th April 2014.
MILWICH - Removed Gravestones
These are laid down in a row close to the hedge at the east side of the churchyard, with three laid in front of other stones at the southern end.
Words or notes have been added in square brackets where there was a detail Marion was unable to read, or where she felt it appropriate to add information from her transcription - to 1900 - of the parish register. The current burial register, which started in 1890 is [in May 2014] still is use at the church. The detail added in rounded brackets is how it appears on the stone.
Comments in red type have been added by Randle Knight. A red "P" means that he has a photograph which he took in the 1970's. It appears that he did not photograph all the stones, and possibly none at all dated after 1900. Even some of these relatively modern stones are no longer fully legible.
Starting from the northern end (furthest from the church)
K1. John Bostock SNAPE, Chase View, Garshal Green, d. 11 Dec 1932 aged 62

like 10 Aug, but it is almost certainly the 19th, his age is 22]

photo he took in 1975 when the inscription was sufficiently legible to identify it
with one he took as Marion uncovered it, and he is sure they are the same]
