St Mary the Virgin's Church, Bishops CanningsSt Mary the Virgin's Church at Bishops Cannings is visible from afar, and is one of Wiltshire more attractive churches. Most is Early English, although the nave and aisles externally rebuilt in Perpendicular times - when the Spire was added and the crossing given a Lierne Vault. There is a long, low, but internally vaulted Chancel with a two storeyed north east Vestry, higher than the chancel. (Information provided by Phil Draper)
