Inside St Mary's Church, Castle Eaton

Recent Photograph of Inside St Mary's Church (Castle Eaton)

The aisle is seperated from the nave by wooden posts. Other features are a fine Norman south doorway and wall painting of Virgin & Child. There is an odd carved post in aisle topped by a crest - a support for a former gallery? Note: the church is locked - the keyholder notice is on board by lychgate before the long walk to the church.
