St Thomas à Becket's Church, East Coulston

Recent Photograph of St Thomas à Becket's Church (East Coulston)

...or just Coulston as it now seems to be known. This small humble church could not have contrasted more to the grandeur of the morning yet its charm and a few simple features makes it just as memorable. No tower, a simple originally Norman nave and chancel had been extended by a massive north transept in the 14th century. Blocked Norman south doorway and original imposts to the chancel arch (raised in the 19th century).
