St Michael's Church, Highworth (Sampson & the Lion)

A Norman tympanum is now somewhat skied over the south doorway inside the aisle, according to Pevsner showing Sampson and the Lion although from my position in the nave I assumed it was St Michael and a Dragon at first! It has an unusual outer surround of interlaced scrolls.
