LUCKINGTON, a parish in the hundred of CHIPPENHAM, county of WILTS, 7 miles (W.S.W.) from Malmesbury, containing 280 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Wilts, and diocese of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at £9. 7. 8. The Rev. John Turner and others were patrons in 1821. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
