St Mary's Church, Steeple Ashton (Sharp Memorial)

This very simple memorial that caught my eye, a small obelisk to a 17 year old John Sharp d.1814 spied on a corbel in the baptistry south of the tower, plain and to the point, and probably all his family could afford. It is in complete contrast to the grandeur all around.
