A Green Man, Sutton Benger
The west respond of the South Arcade at Sutton Benger, Wiltshire, is a Green Man of considerable complexity! The arcade is 19th century but why would the Victorians create this? So I agree with Pevsner and Cherry's thought that this has to be 14th century restored. In fact this church has many unusual features! (Information provided by Phil Draper)
