St Giles's Church, Tytherton Kellaways

Recent Photograph of St Giles's Church (Tytherton Kellaways)

St Giles's is a small 18th century chapel at the end of Maud Heath's Causeway, an odd Tudor construction paid for by this lady, which still manages to keep the pedestrians dry and out of the flooding waters of the Bristol Avon! The church is an odd eclectic mix which is not so usual as to be without interest. Usually locked, but my visit was timed to perfection along with the grass cutter!

Tytherton Kellaways, formerly a tything in the parish of Bremhill, is today called simply ‘Kellaways’.
