Danvers Memorial, West LavingtonI have visited before so I did not take many photos, but here is a large church in a huge churchyard. It has an unusual south east chapel, built onto the wall of the chancel with only a door connecting the two, and with the lancets opening into it. A doorway from the south transeptal chapel has a short dog-leg passage leading into the chapel. This south transept houses a number of monuments, the chief one to Henry Danvers d.1654 a day after his 21st birthday with an epitaph that should suggest canonisation for the youngster...
