Priory Church, Great Malvern (Tomb of John Knottesford/2)

One of two tombs flanking the high altar, this view of the Tomb of John Knottesford is from the south aisle.

Pevsner could not have gone round the back here as he does not mention this substructure - the two depressed arched openings, flattened panelled vaulting and collection of architectural fragments and old ledger stones placed here.
