The Old Church, Madresfield (Demolished 1852)

Here is a delightful painting of the original Norman (c.1200) church at Madresfield, which I was unable to resist photographing. I find the early wooden(?) towers of Herefordshire and Worcestershire churches quite captivating, being so unlike those I'd seen in Derbyshire, and Gloucestershire, before I'd moved to the area.
