Lady Anne Guise, Strensham (d.1734)

Recent Photograph of Lady Anne Guise (d.1734) (Strensham)

The guide book tells us this is the largest of the Chancel tombs requiring part of the ceiling to be removed for its insertion (it was impossible to find a position far enough back from the wall to photograph its full height). It is for Anne, Lady Guise (d. 1734); she was the eldest daughter of the last male Russell (Francis, d.1705), and the relict of Sir John Gyse (Guise) of Elmore.
