Pictures of the Past : View of Bakewell, Bakewell

This is believed to be a view of the town from the Station Road, looking down onto Coombs Road. Another View from Station Road (dated 1928) elsewhere on this site, taken by a private individual, almost exactly matches that of this “official” postcard.

The actual postcard shows this photograph in a brown ‘frame’ - only the portion showing the caption ‘Derbyshire’ is retained here.
