The Woodcutter, Chapel en le FrithThis grave marker (evidently no longer in situ), known as the “Woodcutter's Grave”, is believed to be that of a 13th century forester, and allegedly the oldest known in the churchyard. It bears the letters ‘P’ ‘L’ with a depiction of an axe. (Information provided by Janet Kirk)
