St Giles's Church, Great Longstone (NE View)

In the days when Longstone parish included the hamlets of Hassop and Rowland, parishioners attending church would have approached the church from this direction, passing through a ‘squeezer’ stile in the north-east corner of the churchyard. The north-east corner also was traditionally where they would have been laid to rest.
