Lenox his wife, who died on Monday the 10th
Day of May 1725
She was the daughter of John TRUEMAN,
Of Mansfield, in the County of Nottingham, Gent,
And Lenox his wife who was daughter of
Sr Francis RODES of Balthborrow, Bart.
Hugh SHELDON, in Pious Memory
Of his dear father and mother caused this
Monument to be erected

gave 100 pounds to the be laid out in land
and rent thereof to be given in clothing
to the poor of Moneyash and the neighbourhood
not receiving Parish Relief . The Minister and some
of the respectable inhabitants to attend to the
distribution on Christmas Eve . The above sum
with interest to amount of 115 pounds was laid out
in the purchase of the Soldiers Croft in Moneyash
containing 1 acre, 2 roods 15 perches, 1837
