Five Wells Chambered Tomb, TaddingtonThis photograph was taken during February 2008, when we were having a spectacular early “spring”, with sharp frosty mornings followed by gloriously clear (and warm) days. One can only wonder what the weather might have been like whilst our ancestors were building this tomb - probably very different to today. It must have been a very impressive structure, possibly visible on the skyline from miles around when it was first built. (Information provided by Rosemary Lockie)
