SISTON, a parish in the hundred of PUCKLE-CHURCH, county of GLOUCESTER, 65 miles (E. by N.) from Bristol, containing 902 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Gloucester, rated in the king's books at £5. 14. 4. F. Trotman, Esq. was patron in 1815. The church is dedicated to St. Anne.
