Flower Festival 2004, Donnington (3)

The twin stained glass window, with images of St Bertha (left) and St George commemorates Bertha, wife of Sir John Mitchell, of Haffield, who died March 30th 1928. Its companion on the right is dedicated to Eleanor Mary NIBLETT “of Upham who died on St George's Day 23rd April 1920”.

The stained glass window which can just be seen through the arch on the right is in memory of Alfred NEWTON, Rector of Preston, who died June 15th 1884.
