Morning Glory, Donnington

Recent Photograph of Morning Glory (Donnington)

This snapshot was intended to be Donnington's answer to Pissarro's painting of ‘Red Roofs’; however it wasn't possible to get near enough to capture both the red roof on the skyline in the centre of the picture, and the bank below it covered in apple blossom, as the luxuriant cow parsley on the roadside, and the telegraph posts got in the way... Oh, and the roofs don't show red enough... Perhaps one year...

Thi viewpoint is on the road from Bromsberrow Heath looking towards Broomsgreen, houses of which can be seen on the hillside. As it happens this road also marks the Donnington parish boundary.
