St John the Baptist's Church, Ashley (2)A church showing a mix of medieval and Victorian, plus a very large chapter-house-like hexagonal extension on the north side. Unusually there is no east window. The fittings of the church are the chief features of note. It was not possible to visit the inside of the church on this occasion, but a later visit proved to be worth the wait. (Information provided by Phil Draper) Alternative views of St John the Baptist's Church (1) is provided by Alf Beard, and by Phil - St John the Baptist's Church (3) on a second visit.
