Inside St Mary's Church, Wotton under Edge

Recent Photograph of Inside St Mary's Church (Wotton under Edge)

The proliferation of wall memorials is bewildering, yet in all honesty the best are hidden by the Victorians moving the former 18th century Organ to the east end of the south aisle.

At the east end of the north aisle is a large tomb chest with large brasses of Thomas Lord Berkeley d.1417 and his wife d.1392. She has a charming little dog nibbling at the foot of her robes, his feet taming a rather ornate lion.
