LANGLEY-BURREL, a parish in the hundred of CHIPPENHAM, county of WILTS, 1 mile (N. by E.) from Chippenham, containing 428 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Wilts, and diocese of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at £12. 7. 3. R. Ashe, Esq. was patron in 1807. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
