St Peter's Church, Bentham (Notice Board)

Recent Photograph of St Peter's Church (Notice Board) (Bentham)

St Peter's Church was made redundant in 1994, and the premises were purchased by the Greek Orthodox Church, who had formerly shared St Luke's Church in Cheltenham. Its dedication is now to St John Chrysostom, in the Archdiocese of Thyatiera and Great Britain, but the churchyard remains consecrated, and dedicated to St Peter.

St John Chrysostom is a popular saint in the Greek Orthodox Church. He was born in Antioch in AD347 and died at Commana in Pontus in 407.
