Inside St Michael & All Angels Church, Tirley (West View)

There are slate tablets on the wall beside the entrance (on the far left of this photograph) listing the various charitable bequests, for example Mr Joseph MILLARD gave by his Will in 1727 £5 per annum; the income from four acres of land was given by Susanna GWYN recorded in 1735; and the income from “Netherstone Leasow” (described as ‘Pasture and Orchard Groun’d) by the Misses ATWOOD of Tewkesbury in 1751.
