St Mary's Church East Window, Donnington

This window commemorates
Elizabeth LANDER died Aug 31st 1854 and Maria LANDER died July 20th 1850.
Maria was the first wife (née Le BRETON-PIPON) of John LANDER, Rector of Donnington 1845-90, and Elizabeth was his mother (née WATKINS).

Dappled sunlight and mixed greens in the leaves of trees outside the window make a perfect foil for the designs and colours in this stained glass.
