Autumn Tints, Stoke

Recent Photograph of Autumn Tints (Stoke)

We are looking from Goatscliffe towards the southern part of Grindleford and to Froggatt Edge. Points of interest are Grindleford Laundry chimney in the left middle foreground (just below the telephone wire, and now demolished), and a large stone trough in the middle, against the wall into the field where cows might have a drink. The trough is about 5 feet long, by 3 feet wide by 4 feet deep - just imagine how much stone needed to be hacked away to make it!
