The following MI was kindly contributed by Keith Walter, 24th September 2007. Thomas was his gt*2 grandfather. Also of note is that Thomas was the enumerator for at least three of Brookthorpe's census returns.

'Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give ye rest' [Note: this inscription was recorded in 1995, when it was quite clear. It may no longer be readable] |

The following MI was kindly contributed by John Williams, 1st September 2012. The stone is set into the ground near the gateway between the car park and churchyard, and the inscription is included for interest.
