F1. In Memory of Charles DAUNCEY who died July 1851 aged 37 years,
[followed by a verse, too badly eroded to read]

F2. Sacred to the memory of Jacob ROGERS of this parish
who died January the 8th. 1853 aged 87 years.
Also of Jacob HORNER his Great Nephew who died
February the 25th. 1855 aged 32 years.

[On the other side there is the following inscription]
WHEN I WAS YOUNG IN WAR I SHED MY BLOOD
BOTH FOR MY KING AND FOR MY COUNTRY'S GOOD
IN OLDER YEARS MY SERVICE WAS TO BE
SOLDIER FOR HIM WHO SHED HIS BLOOD FOR ME.

Jacob ROGERS was a private in the 80th. Regiment of Foot - the Staffordshire
Volunteers Regiment. He received the Egypt medal and clasp for his service
in Egypt in the 'Napoleonic Wars'. Previous to landing in Egypt the regiment
had been in Ceylon for a period. After garrison duty in Cairo it returned to
Calcutta and Madras. The regiment was posted overseas for twenty-one years,
mainly in India. The 1851 census records that he was a Chelsea Pensioner,
(although he is not in their records), and that he was deaf.

who fell asleep in death on the 10th. Of July 1868

Christopher KEELING was one of the two founders,
with Samuel LONG, of Cromhall Chapel in 1813.
He came from Nottingham, and lived on the Green at Heathend.

F5. In Affectionate Remembrance of William RANDALL who departed this life
January the 24th. 1871 in the Sixty Third year of his age.
His End Was Peace.

widow of the late William RANDALL
who died March 4th. 1897 Aged 88 years.
