Inside St John the Baptist's Church, Preston by Ledbury (East)

Preston Chuch has several grand memorials inside, including those to the PAUNCEFOOT family, who lived at Preston Court, and one to Sir Thomas and Lady Anne HANBURY. Sir Thomas was born at Preston and was formerly married to Elizabeth CATESBY. Anne was the daughter of Sir Nathaniel POWELL.

There is a memorial plaque on the north wall to the left of the doorway commemorating John MASEFIELD (1878-1967), the Poet Laureate, who was baptised at Preston. It was presented by the Masefield Society in 1994.
