BOWER, James of Sheffield, YKS buried Oct 29 1823 aged 32 years.
Killed on the 27th by a fall from the top of the tower of St. George's church, Sheffield.

CATCHPOLE, Solomon of Sheepbridge buried September 4, 1887 aged 35 years.
Hanger on at Devonshire pit - killed accidently.

FISH, Joseph of New Whittington buried January 22, 1889.
Killed in pit explosion at Hyde nr Manchester.

HARRISON, Samuel of Old Whittington buried March 24, 1885 aged 19 years.
Coal pit accident.

LUDFORD, Georgina Fanny of Old Whittington buried July 30, 1882 aged 16 years.
Killed by being dragged by a runaway horse from Old Whittington to Sheepbridge Inn.

MEAKIN, John of Sheepbridge buried January 1, 1887 aged 47 years.
Poisoned himself accidently with (Lurium?)

NEEDHAM, John of Eckington Road buried September 9, 1885 aged 18 years.
Run over by wagon near Whittington Station.

SMITH, James of Sheepbridge buried March 19, 1887 aged 21 years.
Accident at work.

WALKER, Eliza of Old Whittington buried June 2, 1883 aged 55 years.
Suicide in temporary insanity.
