Stoney Middleton was a Chapelry of Hathersage until 1834, after which it began to have its own Vicar. In 1957 the living was united with the living of All Saints, Curbar, and in 1991 St. Anne's, Baslow joined them in a united benefice. The Vicar of this united benefice now resides at Curbar Vicarage.

Transcribed by Glenn Trezza in December 2001 from Parish Registers, with additional details from “Notes for Visitors to the Church” by Rosemary Lockie.
